Monk is a flat out scorer. Against elite level competition, Monk made his presence felt early and often. He finishes so well at the rim with either hand in traffic. Monk played both on and off the ball.

Monk was outstanding here. He’s a high flyer and an elite level athlete at the guard position. Monk showed that he can play either guard position and create to score the basketball. He has real range and played at the top of the half court 1-3-1 trap. In that way, his game is similar to Malik Newman (MS-15).

Monk has become a popular name in the EYBL circuit because of his ability to put up points. The strength of his game revolves around him using screens and freeing up for jumpers. He is so quick with the ball and away from the ball – he is a tough cover for any defender.
