Jackson is a steady hand at the point guard position. He’ll remind some Duke fans of Tyus Jones in style though a little different in build / game. What Jackson does do similar to Jones is manage the game.  Jackson’s ability to stay cool, calm and collected even on the USA Stage was impressive.

Jackson’s productivity reminds me of Jawun Evans (SC-15) in this same setting a year ago. Jackson shot the 3-pointer making multiple shots each game while also pushing the tempo. He can flat out score and push the ball.

Jackson is an efficient scorer who can attack the defense from either guard position. He shoots the ball from the 3-point arc at a high clip while also having the athleticism to finish at the basket. He was great in transition this weekend as he completed numerous alley-oop dunks while running the floor. He finished the camp averaging 15.4 points per game and became one of the nation’s hottest names as a result.
