I have changed Wilson position to shooting guard as he seems better suited there right now. He shows flashes of elite level play. As Jon saw last weekend, Wilson’s game can come and go inside of the same viewing.

Wilson had another uneven performance like I saw at the NBPA Top 100 Camp. For three quarters he struggled with decision making and shot selection. However, in the fourth quarter he made some big shots to keep his team close.

Wilson played more off of the ball here. He didn’t seem comfortable in that role struggling to find his way. Wilson did make a nice spin move in the lane to find an open teammate on the wing for a 3-pointer.

Wilson had a game of ups and downs in the viewing that I watched. He played the PG spot and his team relied upon him to make plays. He struggled with staying under control and limiting his turnovers. However, by the end of the game he made several plays which led to a win for his team.

Wilson played the PG spot for his HS team exclusively, although he might be more built physically & mentally for the SG position. He attacks well off of the bounce, like Brandon said below in his first eval – his first step is not explosive enough to beat a super quick guard. However, tonight he showed that he could get to the hole effectively off of the 2nd dribble and use his size to make something good happen.

Wilson is a smooth left-handed point guard who likes to distribute the basketball. He’s an inconsistent shooter from the outside right now. Wilson is a good athlete not great. He struggles to get downhill against quick, compact point guards.
