Riley worked the hi-lo game with Bagley on this team. He finishes well with his left hand around the rim, but he needs to add a right hand to his tool bag. He slashed and attacked from the high post. His 3pt shooting that emerged during the HS season disappeared during the circuit as he only hit 5-28 from the arc.

Riley’s size and strength on the inside is well documented. Playing alongside Marvin Bagley III, Riley’s willingness to rebound allows Bagley the freedom to face up on offense. Riley is averaging 13.7 points, 7.3 rebounds per game. That said, he’s shooting at 46 percent which is an area he can improve on.

Riley was a beast today scoring 25 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Impressively he hit both of his 3pt attempts as well. He has nimble feet that he combines with strength to finish and rebound in the lane.

Riley played a lot on the block here today and drew constant double teams doing it. The impressive part of his game today was his ability to pass out of pressure and create space by using footwork and a power dribble. When the angles and the space did present itself, Riley was able to attack the rim consistently and draw contact to get to the line. He had a big day with 22 points.

Even in a gym full of stars, Riley stands out as only a rising sophomore. He finished with contact here and continues to show that he’s one of the nation’s premier prospects in his class nationally.

Riley made his presence known amongst a camp full of 4 and 5 star ’15 prospects as a 2017 player. In fact, many of those older PF had trouble keeping Riley from doing what he is best at doing. He is strong and powerful, especially when putting the ball on the floor from the elbow area. If he is not boxed out on the offensive glass he is an immediate threat to tip-dunk at any moment.

Riley had another top shelf showing here. He finished consistently with his left hand through contact in the open floor. He is showing a ball skill here that we weren’t able to see in Minnesota even changing directions to attack the basket.

Riley is a physical specimen at the power forward position. He is both explosive and an elite athlete. Riley’s build is large like NBA player Kenneth Faried. A left-handed shooter, Riley hit a 3-pointer here but is inconsistent from the free throw line.

Riley is a left handed 4-player with a number of tools and talents that make him a legitimate 5 star prospect. He has a Julius Randle-like body at a young age and can face up and drive the ball hard like Randle. He is a force of nature when he gets going down hill. He lacks some intangibles right now in terms of game experience and giving consistent effort that he can certainly straighten out in the future years.
