SUGAR HILL, Ga. – The Elite Basketball Academy Top 40 Workout is designed to bring some of the nation’s top prospects together to compete and showcase their skills in front of BrandonClayScouting.com and OTRHoopsReport.com evaluators.

Ty Pendley, Team 1 (Dalton, Ga.), Southeast Whitfield HS – 2016

We got a second look at Pendley during this workout after we saw him in September at the EBA All-American Camp in September. You can read his evaluation HERE. In this viewing the 5-foot-10 guard college research paper showed nice craftiness with the ball in his hands. He surprised defenders with his vision with the pass while also doing a good job of changing speeds with the ball in his hands to create space. What makes Pendley such a valuable player at this moment is the variety of back court skills that he possesses. He is skilled enough to handle the ball as a lead guard. In addition he is a dead-eye shooter from the beyond the arc, which makes him a threat to score double digits each night.

Kevon Tucker, Team 4 (Lawrenceville, Ga.), Berkmar HS – 2016

Tucker puts power in the phrase “Power Wing.” The 6-4 do my assignment for money small forward is built like an interior player through the shoulders and he has the feet to be able to move on the perimeter. However, what stands out the most about the Dacula native is his intensity. It did not take long for him to break a sweat during the Fall Workout, because he takes the floor in a flurry each time he steps out to compete. He did an effective job of attacking the rim during this camp and that should be his calling card this season as he competes in region 8-AAAAAA for the Falcons.

Justin Watson, Team 4 (Powder Springs, Ga.), Hillgrove HS – 2017

Watson is essay on essays a young prospect with a promising future. Standing at 5-9 he uses his quickness to hound ball handlers on the defensive end. He has quick hands and feet that he can utilize to become an on ball defending specialist. The sophomore projects as a point guard on the offensive end and that quickness should serve him well to create space for his teammates. He will be a player that we track moving forward as he continues to mature both physically and with his skill.
