Cory Johnson – (Dacula, Ga.) – Hebron Christian School – 2015

Johnson is a shooting guard who shoots the ball from the wing position. His range extends well beyond the arc consistently. Although that is his specialty, he showed solid ball skill and the ability distribute the ballto open teammates. With another year of high school basketball in front of him, look for the 6 foot guard to be a standout again for coach Will Cantrell and his Lions’ team.

Simon Shafack – (Sugar Hill, Ga.) – Lanier HS – 2014

Of the unsigned prospects that attended the EBA Top 40 Workout, Shafack certainly is one of the more intriguing players that participated. His play at the event garnered a scholarship offer onsite from Southeastern Illinois. Standing at 6-foot-4 and with the ability to defend a number of different positions on the floor, he is a prospect that has elevated his stock over the past year. His combination of athleticism and length makes him an attractive prospect for a variety of programs regionally. His high school coach, Jeremy Huckaby, worked hard to get Shafack’s offensive skill to where it is today. If his skill set continues rounds out, he projects to be a player that should have a complete collegiate career.
